Shopify stores that
sell all year.

We design and set up Shopify stores for businesses that sell products: shops, makers, food and wellness brands, and East End boutiques that want the register to keep ringing after Labor Day. One person you can call, a plain price, and a store that’s ready to take orders the day it launches. Starter stores from $2,000.

01 /Who it’s for

Businesses that
sell things.

If customers put products in a cart, Shopify is usually the right tool. Based on Long Island, working with shops anywhere in the US.

01

Shops with a front door.

Retail stores and East End boutiques that do most of their business in summer. A good store lets the customer who found you in July keep buying from you in February, from wherever they spend the winter.

02

Makers and small brands.

Candles, ceramics, apparel, art prints, skincare. Products with variants, limited runs and gift options, sold online and at markets and pop-ups from the same inventory.

03

Food and wellness.

Supplements, pantry goods, bundles and gift boxes. Stores where the shipping rules, local pickup and clear product information matter as much as the look.

02 /Why Shopify

The right tool,
most of the time.

Shopify runs the parts of a store that are hard to get right: checkout, payments, hosting and security. You run the shop.

Shopify fits when

  • Selling products online is a real part of the business, not a side feature.
  • You want to add products, change prices and ship orders yourself, from a laptop or your phone.
  • You sell in person too and want one inventory for the counter and the website.
  • You’d rather pay a monthly plan than look after hosting, updates and security.

It isn’t the right fit when

  • You sell a service. Contractors, law firms, salons and restaurants usually need calls and bookings, not a cart.
  • You have two or three products and no plans for more. A simple buy button on a regular site can do the job.
  • The site is mostly about content, with a store as a small corner of it.

For a services business, our $1,000 WordPress starter is usually the better fit and costs half as much. If you’re comparing budgets, start with what a website costs on Long Island.

03 /What’s included

A store that’s ready
to take orders.

The build

  • Shipping rates and sales tax set up for where you sell.
  • Policy pages: refunds, shipping, privacy and terms.

The launch

  • Basic SEO: page titles, meta descriptions, clean product URLs and image alt text.
  • A walkthrough so you can add products, fulfil orders and issue refunds yourself.
  • The store in your name, with us working as an approved collaborator.
Premium themes, paid apps, big catalogs, migrations and custom code are quoted separately. See pricing ↓

06 /Common questions

Shopify questions,
answered straight.

Still have one we haven’t answered? Just ask.

How much does a Shopify store cost?

Our Shopify starter is from $2,000: a theme-based store with up to about 25 products loaded, payments, shipping and tax set up, policy pages, basic SEO and a walkthrough. Premium theme licenses, paid apps, large catalogs, migrations and custom theme code cost more, and custom builds are quoted per project. Shopify’s own plan is separate and paid to Shopify: Basic is $39 a month billed monthly, or $29 a month paid yearly, as of September 2026.

Do I own my store?

Yes. The Shopify account is in your name and you are the store owner. We work inside it as a collaborator, the access type Shopify built for partners, which you approve and can remove from your Shopify admin at any time. Your products, customers and orders stay with you.

Can you move my store from Wix, Squarespace or WooCommerce?

Usually, yes. Shopify publishes migration guides for all three, and we also set up redirects from your old page addresses so links and search rankings you’ve earned don’t lead to dead pages. Migrations aren’t part of the $2,000 starter; we quote them once we’ve seen the size of the catalog and what the current store does.

Shopify or WooCommerce?

Shopify includes hosting, security and checkout for a monthly fee, which suits owners who want to run a shop, not a web server. WooCommerce is a free WordPress plugin, so it can cost less and bend further, but someone has to look after hosting, updates and security. If selling products is the main job, we usually recommend Shopify.

Can I sell in person too?

Yes. Every paid Shopify plan includes Shopify POS for basic in-person selling from the same products and inventory as your online store. In-person card payments on the Basic, Grow and Advanced plans are 2.6% + 10¢ as of September 2026. Shops that need more staff controls and inventory tools can add POS Pro for $89 a month per location, billed yearly.

How long does a Shopify store take to build?

A starter store moves as fast as its product information. When photos, descriptions, prices and shipping details are ready, it’s a matter of weeks, and if you need to be selling sooner we can launch a lean first version quickly and build out from there. Larger catalogs, migrations and custom features take longer, in line with the 8–10 weeks we quote for more complex e-commerce builds.
