The software is not the risk. The plugins nobody has updated since the site launched are the risk. Weekly updates, checked after they run, close most of that door.
01 /How it works
Quiet, routine work. The whole point is that you never think about it.
Fast, managed hosting sized for a business website, with an SSL certificate that renews itself. Chrome has marked every site without one as “Not secure” since July 2018, so this is not optional. Your domain stays in your name.
A full copy of your site and database every night, stored away from the server it protects, so a bad update, a hack or a mistaken delete costs you an hour instead of a rebuild. If something goes wrong, we restore from the latest copy and tell you what happened.
Weekly updates to WordPress, plugins and the theme, checked on a copy of the site first. Malware and file-change scanning, a firewall in front of the site, and the plugins that have been abandoned by their authors swapped out before they become the way in.
Uptime checks around the clock, with an alert to us the moment the site stops responding. When something breaks, or you just need a phone number changed, you reach a person who already knows your site, not a ticket queue.

What we don’t do: host Shopify or Squarespace sites. Those platforms host themselves and handle updates as part of their monthly plan. We still help with design, content and search work on them; hosting just isn’t part of it.

Every price is a starting point. Anything beyond the plan is quoted in writing before we start.

Yes. Most WordPress sites can move onto our care after a short review of the theme, plugins and hosting. We look first because a site with abandoned plugins or a custom theme needs more work to keep safe, and we’d rather tell you that up front than discover it after you’ve signed.
You email or text one person, and that person already knows your site. Uptime monitoring usually reaches us before you do. If an update causes a problem, we roll back to the previous night’s backup, fix the cause, and tell you what happened in plain English.
No. Shopify and Squarespace host their own sites and handle their own security and updates as part of the monthly plan, so there’s nothing for us to host. We still help with design, content and search work on those platforms; hosting just isn’t part of it.
Yes. The domain stays registered in your name and the site is yours. If you ever leave, we hand over a full backup and the login details. Care plans have a set term that’s spelled out before you sign, and nothing is locked to us.
